Sean Paul, an icon of 21st-century music and an artist who permanently reshaped the global pop landscape, will perform on May 20 at COS Torwar in Warsaw! The author of countless hits, a GRAMMY Award winner, and one of the leading ambassadors of Jamaican dancehall will present a dynamic career-spanning show in the Polish capital, featuring tracks that have set dance floors on fire around the world for years.
Sean Paul began his musical journey in Kingston, where he first conquered the Jamaican charts before reaching the very top of the U.S. rankings just a few years later. His breakthrough album Dutty Rock became a global success, earned him a GRAMMY Award, and produced classics such as “Get Busy,” “Like Glue,” and “I’m Still In Love.” At the same time, his distinctive voice appeared on worldwide hits by other artists, including Beyoncé’s “Baby Boy” and Blu Cantrell’s “Breathe.”
The following years brought a string of successes and high-profile collaborations — with Sia (“Cheap Thrills”), Dua Lipa (“No Lie”), Major Lazer, and David Guetta — further cementing his unique position at the crossroads of dancehall, pop, and club music. Honored in 2019 with a national award for his services to Jamaica, and with years filled with awards and global hits that earned him a massive international fan base, Sean Paul remains one of the most recognizable and influential figures in contemporary music.
