The sound of alternative rock at the turn of the century? Garbage is undoubtedly a band that had a massive influence on it. The group, led by the iconic Shirley Manson, will perform on May 30th at the Letnia Scena Progresji in Warsaw!
Garbage rapidly climbed to the top of the global alternative scene with their 1995 self-titled debut album, featuring hits like "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains." Three years later, "Version 2.0" earned the band two GRAMMY nominations and solidified their position as one of the most distinctive acts of the late '90s. Much of this success is credited to their charismatic frontwoman, Shirley Manson, whose voice perfectly complements the band’s signature blend of alternative rock, trip-hop, electronica, and pop sensibilities. Garbage’s musical legacy includes the James Bond theme "The World Is Not Enough," and their discography of eight studio albums is now completed by this year's release, "Let All That We Imagine Be The Light."
